Hello Thomas,
Now, I've got the right information :

Thank you

Hi again ;)

I'm not sure it's a Mozilla product you want to talk about.
Maybe you are referring to this one ?
firebirdsql.org/
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firebird_(database_server)

It looks like there is a JDBC driver so it should be possible to rapidly setup a Technology for this database.
But please first confirm that we are talking about this product :)

I was fooled with the logo, and the name that just looks like Thunderbird and so on ... Not a good day ...

So, right, this is the good DB product : Firebirdsql, as you talk about.
(perhaps can you change the topic title)

Our need is just an extract and I suppose that a technology for this kind of DB needs to update Stambia Designer to a next version.
So, as far as i'm concerned, it's not a critical improvement, but it would be nice to consider it.
Meanwhile, we will deal with standard command line extract.

Usually there is no need to update the Designer.
You can simply import the "technology" file and "md" file in your workspace. These files describe the database within Stambia (datatypes, SQL language specificities...). Once we are happy with these files, we usually include them in the next Designer release so that everyone have them.
For now, these file do not exist for Firebird, but if you confirm this is needed then we can take some time to create them (please send a ticket to the support team).
